Comedian Tom Popa had a good one yesterday on Twitter, "Any storm that stops grownups from dressing up on Halloween is a Perfect Storm". I don't subscribe to that notion though. I love the idea of dressing up on Halloween and acting the fool, the scary ghoul or whatever the case may be.
Halloween is going to have a different feel in the northeast of the US this year. The superstorm has knocked us for a loop. Trick-or-treating has been postoned most everywhere until the weekend. That leaves it up to us adults to carry on the tradition tonight.
But, again, I ask the question, where's the actual night of Halloween party? Here's what I wrote last year. Any suggestions?
