Dr. Dog Has the Prescription

After two listens the new Dr. Dog album, Fate, it has catapulted to the top of my best of 2008 list.  I cannot wait for the official release and the ability to hear it on vinyl.
I don't know much about the band except that they hail from Philadelphia.  Here's the wiki lowdown. 
Their sound recalls everything from The Band to The Beach Boys to the finest in indie pop.  The songs are all well crafted and played with great musicianship. 
The album also plays as a piece and keeps referencing back on itself.  It is simply a joy to listen to.
