KPIG To Go National

KPIG, the somewhat legendary roots music terrestrial radio station in Freedom California plans to go national via a type of syndication on other terrestrial stations around the country. 
They were the first radio station to stream on the web way back in the mid 90's.  Their format and DJ's harken back to the great era of radio in the seventies.  It is a joy to listen to. 
This idea of rolling the station out  nationally appears to be unprecedented.  Here's the story from Media Week.
