I hope there's enough IP addresses because at some point everything is going to have one. That's many topics right there but let's keep it to cameras for today.
This technology has been around for quite some time now but as bandwidth has grown the quality of viewing cameras on line has improved along with it. There many ways to use this technology from setting up individual cameras with assignable IP addresses to sophisticated control systems which would even allow you to manipulate the camera from afar.
The simplest way is to use something like Linksys Home Monitoring Cameras. Of course, I can sell them to you and even set them up if you like. They aren't too expensive and can add a bit of comfort to your life. Whether it's watching the home while you're away, keeping an eye on the baby, or monitoring your business.
Here's one on the Audio Craft sales floor. Rest assured these things will be springing up everywhere in the coming years. Ya know, I don't think you'll be able to pick your nose anywhere without someone seeing you.
